Enable and Configuring VDC Backup Job

Enable VDC Backup

1. First go to My Services klik Manage and choose Enable Backup

2. You have to order VDC backup as needed and klik Add To Order

3. Check detail your order dan klik Check Out

Configuring VDC Backup Job

1. First login cloud director and klik more an choose vDC Backup

2. Then a dashboard will appear for the backup view then click job and klik +Create

4. Virtual Machines Klik +Add

5. Choose which vm or vdc to backup, this example backup VDC

6. After finishing selecting it will appear as follows

7. Guest Procesing At this stage select next

  • Application-aware processing You can create transactionally consistent backups and replicas of VMs that run Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database. The transactionally consistent backup guarantees proper recovery of these applications without data loss.
  • VM guest file system indexing You can set up the backup job to create a catalog of files and folders on the VM guest OS. The catalog lets you search for VM guest OS files and 1-click restore in Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager.

8. Job schedule can be adjusted to your needs and klik next

9. Email Notification Enter the email that will be used to receive notifications

10. After the job is finished, it will appear on this screen
