About

A VM can have more than one tier of ioSTOR. For example, VM SQL Server, can have tier ioSTOR250 for Disk1 and ioSTOR500 for Disk2. This article will explain and guide you how to assign ioSTOR to VM.

Preparation

Before proceed to using this guide, you must ensure:

• You have created VM

• Selected ioStor has been purchased from MyAccount portal

Guide

1. First login portal cloud director, click Virtual Machine and choose Details

2. Choose Hard Disks and clicks Edit

3. Select the ioStor to be assigned to the VM and Save.

If there is only 1 disk, you can change the ioSTOR through VM Storage Policy

If there are 2 disks, and you want only disk 1 that use higher ioSTOR, you may define ioSTOR on Policy
