How to Create a Catalog and Upload Media File

Catalog like a folder. It will store media file such as ISO, OVA/OVF, VM template you created. When you want to install your apps or OS and bring your own ISO/OVA/OVF, you can upload it to catalog.

This guide will show you how to create catalog and upload ISO.

Preparation

  • Login to Cloud Director

 

Guide

1. Login to Cloud Director and find Libraries on top bar menu. Select Catalogs and New.

2. Give your catalog name.

3. Once catalog is created, you can start upload ISO or OVA/OVF by click your new catalog > Media & Other > Add

4. Select file/media.

5. Wait till upload progress complete.
