How to Remove Snapshot

About

Snapshot must be deleted immediately if no longer in use as one time backup. In this article, we will discuss how to delete a snapshot on a VM.

Preparation

  • Login to Cloud Director
  • You have VM with snapshot

Guide

1. Select Virtual Machine and on the left pane click the three dots on the VM that has been in the snapshot and the snapshot will be deleted. Select the snapshot menu and click remove snapshot

2. After clicking the remove snapshot menu, a pop up will appear then click remove

3. To find out that snapshot has been successfully deleted, you can see in the task section below and in the snapshot column the check mark has disappeared
